Customer Reviews

"I had breakfast at Emerson's on the Grill with my son, and it was a great experience! I ordered the hearty breakfast (3 eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, and a pancake), and my son Saint enjoyed the French toast. We both had freshly squeezed orange juice, which was delicious. Google said they closed at 3 PM, but when we arrived at 2:20, the door sign said 2 PM--so Google's info was off. Luckily, the owner was incredibly accommodating and offered to cook for us anyway since the grill was still hot. He was very friendly and welcoming, which really made the visit special. The prices were very fair, and the food was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I highly recommend this place!"

"Not sure exactly how long this place has been called Emerson's on the Grill, but the building was a restaurant back when I lived in "The Clem" during the early 2000's & I never thought to give it a second look then. I have to say, I'm SO glad I read about it online a few months ago, because it's definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant! They serve breakfast, lunch & a few dinner items, but they're only open until 3pm. It's not much to look at from the outside, which is deceiving, but inside is a clean & tidy little dining establishment. Their menu isn't huge, which isn't a deal breaker, because honestly, I'd rather see a smaller menu knowing the food is fresh as opposed to a ginormous menu with all sorts of options, now knowing how often the turn over is. My friend & I each had salads, which were HUGE & absolutely fantastic! Everything was prepped to order & presented nicely. I had the Maurice salad, which included four tiny sweet gherkins (YUM!), a hard boiled egg, TONS of delicious julienned swiss, ham & turkey on a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce with TWO containers of delicious homemade Maurice salad dressing. My friend had their crispy chicken salad, which they accomodated her request of replacing the crispy chicken with grilled chicken that was tender, along with a fresh greens blend, tomatoes & cucumbers all with a homemade Ranch dressing. As far as prices, extremely reasonably priced for what you get. I also had a cup of their piping hot chicken noodle soup (I forgot to ask if it was homemade, but it sure tasted like it was!) which was delicious. Our server was very friendly & professional also. I heard they're known for their breakfast.......can't wait to try that option out next!"

"I drive by this place all the time but I've never stopped in until today. I can't believe how amazing the food was at Emerson's on the grill. The hash browns were really crispy and the onions in them were perfectly cooked. The breakfast burrito was probably the best one I've ever had. Lots of bacon, cheese, jalapenos, and eggs. I believe it was $9, which is very reasonable these days. I cant wait to go back and try other items on the menu ."

"WOW!! What a great little place for breakfast. The Erin Kelley (2 eggs, corned beef hash, cheese, and a side of hash browns) was amazing. The place is small and not much to look at, but the staff is friendly and the food is good. Must try for breakfast!!! Staff is still super nice and the lunch wraps - southwest chicken - was really good, too!!"

"The food is very delicious here I can't fault the food in any way. The waitress is always nice and friendly as well. My issue is with the cleanliness. I have gotten dirty cups and a dirty seat or table several times. It is hard for me to relax and enjoy the meal in these circumstances. With clean dishes and surroundings this would be a great place!!"

"The quintessential greasy spoon that almost transports one back to the late 70s. Food is pretty darn good too. They season the hashbrowns nicely."

"One heck of a breakfast burrito! All the kick to get your taste buds started delicious. I am a breakfast person and this place is local and my go to. The Kelly Erin is pretty good as well as German Potatoe pancakes which is plenty to share. I took home one of their specials today for dessert which was the Carmel apple French toast! "
